EU9 Responsible Gaming – Tools, Warning Signs and Support

Gambling at EU9 should be entertainment with a defined budget – not a source of income or financial stress. This page covers every account control available, the warning signs that gambling may be becoming harmful, and where to find free help if you need it.

EU9 holds Curacao and PAGCOR gaming licences. Responsible gaming tools are a condition of both licences, not optional additions. If you need to set a limit right now, go to Account > Responsible Gaming – no support contact needed.

Warning Signs

According to the NHS, warning signs that gambling may be becoming a problem include:

  • Spending more than planned, or more than you can afford
  • Difficulty stopping or cutting down
  • Gambling to escape stress, anxiety or low mood
  • Chasing losses – continuing to bet after losing in an attempt to recover the money
  • Hiding gambling from family or friends
  • Borrowing money or selling possessions to fund gambling
  • Gambling affecting sleep, relationships or work

If three or more of the above apply, use the self-exclusion or cooling-off tool before your next session, then speak to a free support service.

Account Control Tools

Deposit Limits

Set a maximum deposit amount per day, week or month. The limit activates immediately. Reducing a limit takes effect at once. Increasing a limit requires a 24-hour delay – this is intentional.

How to set: Account > Responsible Gaming > Deposit Limits.

Loss Limits

Set a maximum net loss per day, week or month. When the limit is reached, the account auto-logs out and deposits are blocked for the remainder of the period.

Session Time Limits

Set a maximum session duration. A notification appears when the limit is reached. You can extend by 30 minutes once per session, or end immediately.

Reality Checks

Pop-up notifications at 30 or 60-minute intervals showing session duration and net balance change. Particularly useful on EU9’s fast live games – Speed Baccarat at 30 seconds per round completes 120 rounds per hour.

Time-Out (Cooling-Off Period)

Take a break from EU9 for 24 hours, 48 hours, 1 week, 2 weeks or 6 weeks. Login, deposits and marketing are suspended during the period. The account reopens automatically at the end.

Activate: Account > Responsible Gaming > Time-Out.

Self-Exclusion

Permanently close your EU9 account. Processed within 24 hours. Irreversible – the account cannot be reopened. Any real-money balance is returned to your registered payment method. Bonus balance is forfeited.

Activate: Account > Responsible Gaming > Self-Exclusion, or contact Live Chat for immediate processing.

If you are unsure whether to use time-out or self-exclusion, contact GamCare first. They can help you decide the most appropriate step for your situation without pressuring you either way.

EU9 Wallet Controls

Your EU9 wallet shows real-money balance, bonus balance and pending cashback separately. You can set spending limits directly on your wallet balance through the deposit limit controls above. All limit changes are logged and cannot be reversed within the specified period.

Protecting Minors

EU9 is for players aged 18 and above. Age verification is required before the first withdrawal. If you share a device:

  • Use a strong password not saved in shared browsers
  • Log out after every session
  • Do not store EU9 login credentials in auto-fill on shared devices

To block gambling sites at device or network level: GamBlock (paid) and Gamban (paid) block 50,000+ gambling URLs across all browsers.

Free External Support

If you are in immediate crisis as a result of gambling: contact your local emergency services or call GamCare directly. You do not need to be in the UK to receive GamCare support.

EU9’s Commitments

  • EU9 never markets to self-excluded players or accounts in time-out
  • Support agents are trained to identify at-risk behaviour and respond appropriately
  • Self-exclusion requests are prioritised above all other support queue items
  • Responsible gaming tools are reviewed against Curacao and PAGCOR requirements annually
